Hello and welcome.

I am Mathew John, honored to serve as the Inclusion Coordinator for I.S. 061. In this role, I work closely with teachers, staff, and, most importantly, you—the parents—to ensure that every child receives the individualized support they need. My psychology and special education background help me create strategies that promote self-regulation, social-emotional learning, and academic achievement. But I firmly believe that true success is a team effort; you are an essential part of this team.

Together, we will work to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. I am here to assist you at any time and encourage open communication. Whether it's a question, concern, or suggestion, I am always available and eager to partner to ensure your child's success. After all, we are stronger together, and your involvement is vital to helping your child grow into a confident, capable learner.
