Welcome to Mrs. Klipp's Class Page!

My name is Kristin Klipp, and I am so excited to be one of the ELA and Art teachers this year at IS 25. This is my 11th year teaching. I have been lucky enough to have taught middle schoolers for all of those years.  We will be learning a lot this year while having tons of fun! It is so great to have everyone back in the building everyday. 

My goal as your child's teacher is to create a safe, friendly, secure learning environment, while also instilling a lifelong love for learning. I hope to bring my passion for teaching to life, while keeping my students engaged in the process.

When not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and our dog, Kody. We spend our summers at the beach with family and friends. My children are involved in a lot of sports, especially soccer and tennis, so they keep me very busy on the weekends. 

A successful school year includes consistent communication between the parent, teacher and child. Therefore, I will contact you with any questions or concerns and I urge you to do the same.
