Art with Ms. Jill
September is Apple picking season! We started the year by learning about the different colors of apples we may see in the fall and worked with those colors to create apple art! We had lots of fun creating artwork by painting the apples and using the stamping technique.

Students followed step by step directions to create a “Starry Night” portrait inspired by artist Vincent Van Gogh. We used glue to create texture and once that dried, we used oil pastels to bring the picture to life. This art project was inspired by my student Jacob B who has recently discovered Van Gogh and is a fan of his art work.
