Jenn Karakosta Para

My name is Jenn Karakosta.  I have been a Para at P25R since September 2018.  Prior to becoming a Para, I worked on Wall Street from 1992 through 2003 when I had my first son. I then made a tough choice to become a stay at home mom to raise my son. My second son was born in 2007 and once my oldest son was in PS 56 I decided to run for PTA Treasurer and was the Treasurer for five years.  When my youngest son was in 5th grade I realized I wanted to work in the schools because I saw how rewarding it was being in PS 56 for so many years.  This by far has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and my students and colleagues amaze me every day.
